a Wild Child
Adopt
a Heard Wild Child to help provide food, housing and
veterinary care for the animal. Heard animals are an important
part of the museum and teach both children and
adults about native Texas wildlife.
Receive
a beautiful color certificate featuring a photo of the animal you
have adopted and two free passes to visit your Wild Child. Your
name will also be displayed in the Heard education department. Adoptions
are valid for one year at which time you may choose to renew your
commitment or to adopt a different Heard Wild Child. 
Remember,
as with all living things, the life of a Heard Wild
Child is subject to change. If it is taken to another facility
your sponsorship will be transferred to support other
Heard animals. In addition, some animals may be concurrently
adopted due to their popularity.
