Birthday Parties

The Heard Museum offers birthday parties for children (ages 4-10) on Saturdays and Sundays. Children will explore the natural world both inside and out with hands on activities, nature crafts, and more!
Choose from several party themes:

• Nature Safari: Hop around the habitats of The Heard and discover why animals call it home.
• Radical Reptiles: Get to know what it takes to be a member of the scaly gang.
• Incredible Insects: Crawl into the lives of these creepy creatures with six legs!

Party Package Includes:

• Heard Museum staff member to guide the party activities
• Private party room for two hours, including set-up and clean-up
• Access to the Heard Museum exhibits and nature trails

Group Size: 15 children and 2 adults (additional children and adults at $5 each)

Cost: $200 for museum members; $250 non-members
The Heard Nature Store can prepare unique nature party favor bags filled with fun nature related merchandise for an additional fee.

Times:
Saturday 10 A.M.-noon or 2 P.M. – 4 P.M.
Sunday 2 P.M. – 4 P.M.

Dinosaur Party: October 20, 2007 - February 24,2008

• Get up close and personal with 14 life-sized, animatronic Dinosaurs on your Guided Outdoor Nature Hike!
• 8 additional party attendees (total of 25 people, $5 each additional)
• Dinosaur activity booklets

Cost: $250 for museum members; $300 non-members
