Get ready to dive into learning about some of the coolest, most incredible things ever discovered here on Earth and throughout the Solar System!
Dr. David Baker, Chair and Professor of Physics at Austin College and Director of the Adams Observatory, will guide us as we explore the amazing features of our own celestial neighborhood— planets, dwarf planets, satellites, asteroids, comets, Kuiper Belt objects, Oort Cloud icy bodies, and, of course, the Sun itself—and the processes that make them so remarkable. This premiere adult event will feature our new 4-foot diameter Magic Planet digital global display.
The museum building will also be open to explore during this event. All participants must be age 21 or older. Two complimentary servings of wine or soda will be provided as will light hors d’oeurves. Parking is free. Pre-registration is required.
