  • Bee with Your Mom

    In honor of Mother's Day, we will offer a fun event for mothers and their families on the day before. Children can decorate a free bee house to give to their mothers from 10 a.m. to noon.  You'll also learn about native bees that build individual nests and create provisions for their offspring. During this event, animal ambassadors will be available to meet. This program is included in general admission and free for Heard Museum members.

  • Summer Night Hike

    If you have ever been on a hike and the sun set before you finished, you know that experiencing a trail at night can be a completely different experience from hiking during the day. Landmarks change, as can your sense of direction. Even if you’ve hiked a trail several times, it can feel completely unfamiliar. Preregistration is required for all night hikes.
