The Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

There is always something happening at the Heard. Whether it be a new traveling or permanent exhibit, summer camps and other education programs including scout merit badge classes, preschool and homeschool classes, educational night hikes as well as adult nature education classes, the Heard is a fun place for everyone. Visitors may spot animals including deer or bobcats and migrating bird species along one of the seven nature trails. The Heard also offers four rental facilities for weddings, corporate meetings, birthday parties and more. Things are always changing including the seasons which consistently offer different views of the landscape and provide a home for animals throughout the wildlife sanctuary.
